A vast portion of this Dickey Genealogy Report is the result
of many years of research by a cousin whom I "met" via 
telephone and email after discovering a publication of his of 
John Dickey's Store Account Book at the DAR Library in Washington, 
D.C. in 1991.  

We stayed "in touch" and I contributed the James Madison Dickey 
(b.1795) descendants to the effort. While I descend from 
James Madison, Joe is descended from James' brother David Houston. 

Joe published his works about a year ago. The following is a 
summary of what is to be found in the four volumes.
